Fort Worth garbage carts are collected weekly. Place the brown cart by 7 a.m. on the address day, after 6 p.m. the night before, and retrieve it by midnight after service.
Fort Worth recycling is collected on the address schedule in the blue cart. Accepted material must be empty, clean, dry, and loose, with the lid closed and the cart ready by 7 a.m.

One pile of up to 10 cubic yards is included each month. Larger piles, material placed outside the assigned week, and contaminated setouts can incur published fees. City drop off stations provide another path for qualifying residents.
Setout may begin at 6 p.m. Friday before the assigned week and must be complete by 7 a.m. Monday. Keep the pile at least two feet from trees, mailboxes, meters, fences, and other obstacles. Crews have through Saturday at 5 p.m. to collect it.

Bagged household trash, plastic bagged yard waste, vehicle parts, batteries, tires, electronics, cooling appliances, contractor debris, dirt, rocks, concrete, tile, liquids, chemicals, explosives, and glass are excluded from curbside bulk.
