Finding the right trash day can mean opening a city calendar, a separate recycling page, a holiday notice, and a bulk pickup tool. TrashDayFinder brings that information together so you can work out what to do before putting anything outside.

What you can find here
Each city guide explains the services covered, how bulk pickup works, what belongs in a pile or cart, and which holiday changes have been published. Our holiday selector lets you compare the published answer for a city and holiday. Some city guides also include planning tools, such as the Phoenix pile size and appointment timeline calculators.
Where a collection day depends on your exact address, the city or hauler has the final schedule. A ZIP code helps find a guide, but does not prove which company serves a home. We explain those limits alongside the information. Read how we research and update the guides.
Report a correction
Found an outdated date, a broken link, or a rule that does not match the city's instructions? Email contact@trashdayfinder.com with the guide's URL, the detail that needs changing, and the official notice or page if you have it. Please leave out account numbers and your full street address.
We check reported changes against the responsible service before changing a guide. Reports from readers help us find issues; they do not replace the official source. For missed collections or pickup appointments, use the city or provider contact in your guide. This inbox cannot book a collection or dispatch a truck.

How the guides are made
We use AI-assisted tools to help research, organize, and draft the guides. Official sources support the collection rules we publish. Automated source checks are not the same as human editorial review, and a source checked date does not certify that every statement was reviewed by a person. How the site is funded
Some links to private pickup providers are affiliate links. If you book through one, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are labeled. A commission does not change the city's rules, and private pickup is optional. Check whether an included municipal service, donation, or drop off works for your item before paying.
