Match the address to one of four monthly service areas
Scottsdale publishes exact brush and bulk weeks for four geographic areas. The crew visits once during the assigned Monday through Friday window and does not return for a late pile.
The address area determines the Monday that begins the service week.
Deer Valley, Cactus, Via Linda, and Indian Bend form the boundaries.

Four geographic areas receive a different collection week
The crew visits each neighborhood once during its Monday through Friday collection window and does not return for a pile placed after the street has been serviced. Use My Services when the area is uncertain.
The next 2026 windows begin September 28, October 26, November 30, and December 28.
The remaining 2026 windows are September 7, October 5, November 2, and December 7.
The remaining 2026 windows are September 14, October 12, November 9, and December 14.
The remaining 2026 windows are September 21, October 19, November 16, and December 21.
Scottsdale pile preparation
Separate brush from bulk and follow the three day rule
Make one green waste pile and one bulk pile at least three feet apart. Each pile must remain within the City's size limit and clear of containers, meters, hydrants, walls, and other fixed objects.
The crew allocates 20 minutes to a residential pile within the published dimensions.
Do not place material out earlier than the Friday before the assigned week.
Keep limbs and other objects under 12 inches in diameter.
Use sturdy closed boxes no larger than two feet in each dimension and label glass.
Scottsdale 2026 holidays
Only three listed holidays delay residential collection
New Year's Day and Thanksgiving move Thursday service to Friday and Friday service to Saturday. Christmas Day moves Friday service to Saturday. Seven other listed holidays keep the regular route.
Thursday moves to Friday and Friday moves to Saturday.
The same one day shift applies on November 26 and 27.
Monday through Thursday routes remain on their normal days.
The City says service is not affected on seven other 2026 holidays.

Choose the correct collection path
Accepted examples
Furniture, mattresses, tree limbs, bagged grass and leaves, televisions, properly boxed cactus, and properly boxed glass can qualify. Stack brush neatly and point cut ends in the same direction.
Use another disposal option
Dirt, rock, sod, sand, concrete, fiberglass tubs or insulation, construction and remodeling debris, vehicle parts, tires, rims, ordinary household trash, and hazardous waste do not qualify.

Tree limbs and other objects must be less than 12 inches in diameter.
Keep bins, meters, hydrants, walls, and other fixed objects clear.
