Regular household service
Trash and recycling service
Start here for the recurring household collections residents use most often.
Goodyear collects trash once each week. Set the cart in the street by 6 a.m. with the wheels against the curb and leave room around other carts and obstacles.
Goodyear collects recycling on the same weekly day as trash. Use Waste Wizard to check whether an item belongs in recycling, trash, bulk, or a special program.

How Goodyear service works
Use the City's Waste Wizard at goodyearaz.gov/trash and enter the service address. It returns the regular cart day and monthly bulk day and can send reminders.
Goodyear monthly bulk collection
Enter the address in Waste Wizard for the exact day
Goodyear assigns one bulk day each month by address. The City's Waste Wizard also shows the weekly trash and recycling day, sends reminders, and identifies the correct disposal path for common household items.
No collection is assigned to a fifth weekday of the month.
That is approximately two pickup truck beds of approved material.
Use the street beside the curb and keep the pile clear of fixed objects.
Affected routes move one day later; other listed holidays stay on schedule.
Common questions
Goodyear bulk trash questions
Do I schedule Goodyear bulk pickup?
Ordinary bulk collection follows the monthly day assigned to the address. Use Waste Wizard for that date rather than making a separate ordinary appointment.
How early can Goodyear bulk go outside?
The City permits setout up to seven days before the assigned day, but recommends waiting until after 6 p.m. the day before whenever possible. Material placed after 6 a.m. may be missed.
What is excluded from Goodyear bulk collection?
Household garbage, hazardous material, tires, oil, rocks, dirt, large auto parts, and construction or demolition debris are excluded.
City rules at a glance
Local limits before placement
The ordinary bulk pile is limited to five cubic yards, approximately two pickup truck beds. Items other than furniture and appliances must be sized so two employees can handle them safely.
Place bulk in the street beside the curb in front of the property. Keep it clear of utilities, mailboxes, poles, landscaping, sidewalks, and vehicles, and have it ready by 6 a.m.

What makes Goodyear service different
Goodyear's program follows an address calendar rather than a separate ordinary appointment. The seasonal household hazardous waste pickup does require an appointment.
