Flagstaff quarterly collection
Standard bulk follows a zone week; appliances require a call
Flagstaff assigns standard bulky waste to a quarterly collection week. Residents do not make an appointment for the ordinary zone route, but major appliances and televisions must be arranged separately with Solid Waste before setout.
Find the address zone and current week on the official City schedule.
Call 928-213-2121 before placing either type at the curb.
Separate material and keep every individual item under the handling limit.
Items above the limit need another disposal or hauling option.
Quarterly pile checklist
Use the Monday deadline for the assigned week
Place the pile no earlier than one week before the route and no later than 6 a.m. Monday of the assigned collection week. Leave three feet of space around the material. Small furniture, prepared branches, bagged yard debris, and certain scheduled appliances can qualify; construction waste, hazardous material, tires, electronics, and oversized mattresses do not.
Do not use the curb as storage between quarterly collections.
Crews may arrive on a later day within the assigned week.
Keep the pile away from carts, vehicles, utility equipment, and other obstacles.
Trash and accepted recycling follow the normal residential route.

Do I make an appointment for Flagstaff bulk trash?
Standard bulky material follows the quarterly address zone and does not use a regular appointment. Major appliances and televisions are different: call Flagstaff Solid Waste before setout so the City can schedule and identify them for collection.
When should the Flagstaff pile be ready?
Setout may begin one week before the assigned collection week, but the final deadline is 6 a.m. Monday. Keep three feet of clearance around the pile and leave it accessible until the route is completed.
What is the Flagstaff bulk pile limit?
The pile must remain within five feet by five feet by five feet, and each ordinary item must weigh less than 50 pounds. Construction waste, hazardous waste, tires, and unscheduled electronics require another disposal option.
